letter from the developer : Tyler K. Foster
There are several very important concepts that we want to make into reality with Mercury NoDa.
The first is livability. We want our buyers and retailers to feel at home in NoDa and with Mercury and to enjoy truly unique spaces to live, work, and play. I want to note that in our plan we intend to save and renovate the Neighborhood Theatre and connecting buildings. We feel that it is the cornerstone of NoDa. Before I bought this property, all of the plans were to demolish this noble old structure. With a little improvement over time, it will continue to flourish through the hard work of the business owners who provide such great food and entertainment on the corner of North Davidson and 36th Street.
Another important aspect is connectivity. With the future light rail connecting NoDa to Uptown (sometimes I ride my bike Uptown from NoDa, it’s a breeze), connectivity will be even more enhanced towards the south and to UNCC.
The third aspect is Sustainability. Applying for LEED Certification will make this project have less of an environmental impact than standard buildings, and is not just a “green” marketing ploy, but a true attempt at environmental stewardship.
The last, and most important concept we want to deliver is affordability. My goal is to deliver a high quality landmark that will be here for many decades, adding to what NoDa already offers and to deliver this product to the buyer for a more competitive price than anywhere else in town. We know we will realize all of these concepts and more in Mercury NoDa.
In closing, I want to personally thank you for visiting our website and your interest in Mercury Noda. Whether you are a potential customer, retailer, or just curious about what is going on in NoDa, please contact our team listed here on the website. You can email your questions and comments to me directly at tyler@mercurynoda.com. Thanks again and come see us in NoDa!
Warmest and best,
Tyler K. Foster
