Q: How many floors and units are in the building?
A: Currently Phase 1 is planned to be six (6) stories, with six above street level. Five (5) stories of residential condominiums, with two (2) levels of parking below. 125 units will surround the 6000 square foot Plaza.
Q: What square footage and layout options will be available?
A: Square footage of the units will range from 500 square feet to over 1,000 square feet; Studio, 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom units will be available.
Q: What's the price point?
A: The condos range from approximately $120’s-$290’s.
Q: What parking will be offered to residents?
A: One parking space in a secured parking deck will be allotted to each bedroom (*note, this is well above the city requirement of one space per unit offered at other projects in Charlotte); 30 additional overflow units will be available on site for guests. All parking for residents and guests will be fully secured with access restrictions and video surveillance.
Q: What amenities will the building offer?
A: The primary amenity Mercury Noda offers is its location right in the heart of NODA. Additionally, the building will feature wireless internet, bicycle storage and extra storage available for purchase, and public art. There is a plan for a fitness center as well. An execu-center is planned on street level in the building. This will allow work-at-home residents to have access to office space, conference areas, administrative assistance, mailing, faxing and other office support.
Q: What interior finishes will the building offer?
A: Currently the developer is working with BB+M Architects on a finish schedule for The Mercury. We anticipate green, - low-emission finishes as well as flooring and cabinets made from renewable resources.
Q: What is the exterior construction?
A: Mercury NoDa will be primarily masonry with accents, large windows, and balconies looking out over the great street scene in NoDa. Local commissioned artists will participate in decorating parts of the building and grounds.
Q: What are the projected completion and move in dates?
A: Projected to break ground in 2008, with projected completion 2009.
